Henry Osborne Douglas

 

Son of Admiral Billy Douglas, he was born in 1788. He died about 1821.

 

Henry was employed as Lieutenant, 4th Garrison Battalion in 1806 (in Ireland? (1))

 

He married Eleanor CRABTREE in Witton, Norfolk .

They had the following children:

  F i Ann DOUGLAS was born about 1812. She died on 3 Aug 1902. = John Edward PADDON on 27 Apr 1854
  M ii Henry DOUGLAS was born on 21 Nov 1813. He was christened on 18 Jan 1887. = Janet (Jessie) WHYTE on 10 Apr 1837. They had 11 children. 
  M iii Sir Adye DOUGLAS was born on 31 May 1815. He died on 10 Apr 1906. = Martha Matilda ROLLS

 

 

 

Notes:

1.  I am not sure now (April 2023) why I guessed at Ireland.  There were several units named 4th Garrison Battalion, including in Jersey and Australia.
