Scholto Carl Douglas, born on November 23, 1888, in Gerstorp, Kaga Parish, Östergötland County at Stjärnorps Castle, Stjärnorps Parish, Östergötland County, was a Swedish count, chamberlain, captain of cavalry, and estate manager. He was the son of Marshal of the Realm Count Ludvig Douglas and Countess Anna Ehrensvärd, and the younger brother of Robert and Archibald Douglas.

Carl Douglas became a second lieutenant in the Life Regiment Dragoons in 1910, lieutenant in 1916, captain of cavalry in 1925, and chamberlain in 1930. He was the head of the cavalry's non-commissioned officer school from 1922. He managed and resided at Stjärnorp Estate. He was a member of the municipal council, the church council, the school board, and the poor relief board, as well as chairman of the tax assessment committee.

He received several honors; he was a knight of the Order of the Sword and the Order of Vasa, the second class of the House Order of Hohenzollern, a knight of the first class of the Order of the White Rose of Finland, a knight of the first class of the Norwegian Order of Saint Olav, and a knight of the Italian Order of the Crown.

He owned Nellenburg in Baden together with his mother and siblings from 1908, and Alguvid in Kaga Parish together with his brother Oskar Vilhelm.

Carl Douglas married Maria von Schlichting in 1919 (1895–1971). They had two children: Christina (born 1923, married Banér, died 1968) and Madeleine (born 1927, married Ramel).

Scholto Carl Douglas died on June 2, 1946.
