Ernest Douglas, 67, of Corsicana passed away Tuesday, Feb.
6, 2001 at Navarro Regional Hospital.
Mr. Douglas was born Sept. 30, 1933 in Corsicana to John
Henry and Auline Douglas. He was owner of Douglas Food Store 37 years. He
was a member of Corsicana Masonic Lodge No. 174.
He was preceded in death by his parents; granddaughter, Amy
Lynn Barlow; brother, Bobby Douglas; and sister, Evelyn Douglas. Mr.
Douglas is survived by his wife, Dorothy
Douglas of Corsicana; son, Bill Douglas of Joplin, Mo.; daughter and
son-in-law, Gail and Tim Barlow of Corsicana; grandchildren, Shane and
Dawn Douglas of Rice, Kimberly and Marshall Bottoms of Purdon and Amber
Barlow of Corsicana; great-grandchildren, Devin Douglas, Dylan Douglas,
Dalton Douglas, Daniel Bearden, Amanda Bottoms, Kaitlyn Bottoms and Kylie
Bottoms; brothers, Elmer Douglas of Carrollton and Eldon Douglas of
Garland; and sister, Elsie Powell of Mesquite, Edna Schultz of Victoria
and Ellen Nutt of Tyler.
