Dorothy Ruth (Beasley) Douglas

 

Mrs. Dorothy Ruth Douglas, 76, of Corsicana, died on June 22, 2006 in Corsicana.


She was born on November 23, 1929 in Bazette, TX to J.D. and Era Mae Walker Beasley. She was Co-owner of Douglas Food Store and Douglas Dairy Mart in Corsicana, TX.

 

Mrs. Douglas is survived by: A daughter and son-in-law: Gail and Tim Barlow of Corsicana, TX.; Son: Bill Douglas of White Hall, IL.; 2 Sisters: Margaret Skipper and Dwenelle Bradley both of Grarland, TX.; Grandson: Shane Douglas of Austin, TX.; Granddaughter and husband: Kimberly and Marshall Bottoms of Purdon, TX.; Granddaughter and husband: Amber (now Amber Barlow) and L.D. Beers of Huntsville, TX.; Great Grandson: Dalton Douglas of Rice, TX; and Great Grandchildren: Amanda Bottoms, Kaitlyn Bottoms, Daniel Breaden, Kylie Bottoms and Matthew Bottoms all of Purdon, Texas.


She was preceded in death by her husband; Ernest Douglas on Feb. 6, 2001; Brother: Billy Beasley; and a granddaughter: Amy Lynn Barlow.
