Winfield S. CLORE, 84, well known resident of this place, passed awayat 5 o'clock Friday evening after a serious illness of several weeks.Death was caused by pneumonia and complications. The deceased was bornone mile from the home in which he died on Dec 14, 1847, the son ofUrial and "Dorothy Ann Clore. He married Mildred Itskin. Surviving arethe widow; three children: Mrs. Lela Heath and Mrs. Dorothy Catterlinof Crawfordsville and Pearl Clore, of Byron; 3 step children, LuannePitser of California; Robert Itskin of Indianapolis and Mrs. WinnieCrockett, Crawfordsville 5 grandchildren and several steps. Serviceswill be held Sunday afternoon, 2:30 o'clock at Old Union in charge ofthe Rev. CL Airhart. Burial in Old Union."

OBITUARY NOTE: "Waveland Independent, Waveland, Ind. - December 25,1931.
Winfield Scott Clore, who was a well known figure on our streets, diedhere at Byron on Friday. He was born in the same neighborhood,December 14, 1847 and was the son of Urial and Dorothy Clore. Hemarried Mildred Itskin, who survives him with three daughters. Mrs.Lelia Heath, Mrs. Dorothy Catterson of Crawfordsville, and Pearl Cloreof Byron. Three stepchildren, Luanna Pittser of Calif., Robert Itskinof Indpls., and Mrs. Winnie Crocket of Crawf. Services at UnionChurch on Sunday afternoon were in charge of Cornelous Airhart."
