  	From the Holcomb Genealogy web site: In a letter, Ruth Duncan quotes a local newspaper: "200 Years Ago. Sept. 14, 1788. Whereas my wife, Catherine Case, aches me with insolent behaviour, and undutiful marriage, has sold and embezzled my goods and estate, and persists in so doing. It is therefore necessary for me to forbid all persons trading with, or harboring her, for I will not pay any debts she may contract after this date. Elijah Case. Barkhamsted."
