Alexander's parents met through the advertising
agency where Robin Douglas-Home worked, when the eighteen year old fashion
model Sandra Claire Paul was chosen as the face to launch Dove soap.
Together the couple had a son on September 1, 1962, Alexander Sholto
Douglas-Home, who was conceived at Frank Sinatra's house in Palm Springs,
and had Ol' Blue Eyes as a godfather.
