Father: Douglas, William (9th Earl of Angus)
Mother: Graham, Egidia "Giles"

Mr. John Douglas of Barras. also called of Corsbat and of Tannachy. He had Wester Barras.

He married Jean Fraser, and died at Barras, in the parish of Kirmeff, Kincardineshire, on 15th March 161S

Children:

  • Douglas, John - knighted by King Charles I.  He sold his portion of Barras to his brother-in-law, Sir George Ogilvie. He married a daughter of Hay of Ury, and left issue.
  • Douglas, Gavin
  • Douglas, Robert 
  • Douglas, William
  • Douglas, Archibald = ?, had 3 daughters
  • Douglas, Jean
  • Douglas, Elizabeth - married Sir George Ogilvie, Governor of Dunottar Castle, 1st Bart of Barras (d after 11.08.1679) as his first wife.
