Eric Gustaf Philip James Douglas was born on May 1, 1968, in Lidingö Parish, Stockholm County. He is a Swedish count and financier.

Eric Douglas is the son of Gustaf Douglas and Elisabeth Douglas, the grandson of Carl Douglas, and the maternal grandson of Eric von Essen.

Through his company, Orbiter Processing, he owns 24 percent of the family's holding company, Wasatornet. In 2014, he was ranked 29th on the list of Sweden's billionaires by 'Veckans Affärer', sharing the spot with his older brother, Carl Douglas.

Eric Douglas married Die Asplund (born 1964) in 2007.
