Emily Douglas-Home, 29th Baroness Dacre, born 7th February 1983,
is the daughter of Jamie
Douglas-Home, 28th Baron Dacre.
She studied art history at Edinburgh University, graduating
with a Master of Art Honours degree.
She is a
Gallery Assistant in the Portland Gallery, London, having
peviously worked for Sotheby's in the Impressionist and
Modern Art Department.
She ran in the 2009 Edinburgh Marathon, raising £20,000 in
memory of he mother, who died in 2008.
On 21 June, 2014, the engagement was announced between
Charles William Beamish, son of Mr Victor Beamish and the
late Mrs Janey Beamish, of Knappach, Kincardineshire, &
Emily Douglas-Home, (29th) Baroness Dacre {Peerage of
England, cr 1321), (b 7 Feb, 1983), only child of the late
28th Baron Dacre (1952-2014), by his wife the former
Christina Stephenson (d 2005).
