Scarlette Douglas: From Musical Theatre to Property Guru
Scarlette Douglas (born Charlotte Patricia Louise Douglas
on March 17, 1987, the daughter of Joe and Bev) is a multi-talented English entertainer. She's known
for her work as a TV presenter, singer, dancer, and property expert.
Born in Enfield, London, Scarlette started her career in musical theatre,
performing in productions like Hairspray and Little Shop of Horrors. She
also lent her talents as a backing singer and dancer for shows like
Thriller - Live and even Electro Velvet at the 2015 Eurovision Song
Contest.
In 2015, Scarlette joined the Channel 4 property show A
Place in the Sun, becoming a popular presenter and property expert.
After seven successful years, she left in 2022 to pursue new ventures.
Her presenting talents extended beyond A Place in the Sun. She
was a regular reporter on shows like The One Show and Points of View,
and even guest-presented on Jeremy Vine. In 2020, she hosted the Channel
4 program Holiday Secrets... is Last Minute Best?
Since 2022,
Scarlette has teamed up with her brother Stuart to co-host several
shows. They presented a special Black to Front edition of Love It or
List It, followed by architect George Clarke's series Flipping Fast.
Currently, they co-host the property development show Worst House on the
Street.
Scarlette also dipped her toes into reality TV,
participating in the 22nd season of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of
Here! in November 2022. She later filled in for Richard Arnold as the
Entertainment presenter on Good Morning Britain in December 2022.
Scarlette Douglas's career path is a testament to her versatility
and talent. She continues to entertain audiences across various
platforms.
In addition to Stuart, she has another elder brother, Andrew.
Stuart Anthony Douglas is an English retired footballer. He was
born on April 9, 1978, in Enfield, London.
