DOUGLAS, Male - B11/7/1843 - Here, on the 11th inst., Mrs Alexander Douglas, of a son.

DOUGLAS, Male - B20/7/1844 - At Florence, on the 20th ult., the Viscountess Drumlanrig, of a son and heir. (Father was Archibald William Douglas and the mother was Caroline Margaret Clayton, they also held the title Marquis of Queensbury) (This boy became the 9th Marquis, and creator of the famous "Queensbury Rules")

DOUGLAS, Male - B25/7/1844 - at Wilton Crescent, London, on the 25th ult., Lady Douglas, of a son.

DOUGLAS, Male - B6/8/1844 - At Inverleith House, Edinburgh, on the 6th inst., the Right Hon. Lady Elizabeth Douglas, of a son.

DOUGLAS, Female - B1/9/1844 - At Cotton House, Warwickshire, on the 1st inst., the Lady Jane Johnstone Douglas, of a daughter.

DOUGLAS, Female - B5/6/1845 -Here, on the 5th inst., the wife of Mr John Douglas, cartwright, of a daughter.

DOUGLAS, Male - B23/6/1846 - At Edinburgh, on the 23d ult., the Lady Jane Johnstone Douglas, of a son.

DOUGLAS, Male - B8/2/1847 - At Herleyford, near Marlow, on the 8th inst., the Viscountess Drumlanrig, of a son.

DOUGLAS, Male - B2/1/1853 - At Glen Stuart, on the 2d instant, the Viscountess Drumlanrig, of a son, who survived only a few hours.(Father was Archibald William Douglas and the mother was Caroline Margaret Clayton, they also held the title Marquis of Queensbury)

DOUGLAS, Female - B13/7/1854 - At Gatehouse, on the 13th instant, the wife of Mr J. Douglas, saddler and harness maker, of a daughter.

DOUGLAS, Female - B23/12/1855 - At Edinburgh, on the 23d ult., the Lady Jane Johnstone Douglas, of a daughter (probably the daughter of Charles, 6th Marquis of Queensberry).

DOUGLAS, Male - B26/10/1860 - Here, at Sheuchan Street, on the 26th ult., Mrs Douglas, of a son.

DOUGLAS, Female - B28/4/1863 - At Amherst, Victoria, on the 28th April, the wife of Mr Patrick Douglas, merchant, of a daughter.
