This page is a Stub - you can help improve it Captain Angus William Sholto Douglas was of the Timpendean line - Angus William Sholto Douglas born Oct 1852 was purported to hold the original grant deed for Timpendean. ― He possesses the original charter of 1479, granting Timpandean to his ancestor (The Heraldry of the Douglases by G Harvey Johnson – Edinburgh and London – December, 1906) He was the son of Henry Sholto Douglas and nephew of Captain George Douglas, the 12th of Timpendean.
