    RAYMOND L. TYLER, 59, of Crawfordsville and formerly of Mecca, diedMarch 5 in Parke County. Born Sept. 3, 1926, in Mecca, he was the sonof Edgar Tyler and Jessie Lawson Tyler. Survivors include onedaughter, Alice Wallace of Clinton; two sons, Robert of Universal andTim of Clinton; two brothers, Richard and Howard; and one aunt, EvaMoore, Mecca. Private graveside services will be held Friday withRev. tim Rasmussen officiating. Karanovich Funeral Home in Clinton isin charge of arrangements."     "Suspects being sought, Murder determined as cause of Tyler's death:
    by Tony Virostko, "Evidence of foul play has led police to believethat Raymond L. Tyler, 59, of Crawfordsville was murdered. Tyler,whose badly decomposed body was found in the Wabash River Saturday,May 24, has last been seen on March 5 of this year. According toIndiana State Police Public Affaairs Officer Mark Hartman, ForensicPathologist John Pless of Indianapolis told investigators that anautopsy showed no cause of death, but Pless said that blows to theback of the neck and head with a blunt object is enough evidence toprove foul play in tyler's death. Hartman also said thatinvestigators for the case, Indiana State Police detective JerryStateler and Parke County Sheriff Mike Eslinger, now believe thattyler was robbed of approximately $1000 before he was killed. Theyalso stated that suspects are being sought. Etc..."
