- In accordance with the wishes of his father, he became a trainee attorney in Wroclaw, then he worked in a court in Berlin, then again in Wroclaw. As a result of the change of management, he was dismissed from his job. After this short period of work, he returned to studies. He studied algebra, economics, astronomy and botany. The latter became his hobby.
