  Lawrence W. Fox was born 17 May 1908, and died 3 March 1961. He is buried in Oak Park Cemetery, New Castle, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania. He married 7 February 1931, Christine WELKER, who was born 20 November 1908. He was a steelworker at the Ellwood City Tube Mill and also owned a furnace business in partnership with his best friend, Fox & McConnell Heating. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Westminster College and taught in New Brighton, Pennsylvania during the Depression. She returned to teaching in 1956, and taught Latin and English at Zelienople High School, Zelienope, Pennsylvania. They had two children.
