Mabel E. WIATT, 60, died Sunday at 9:00 a.m. at her home north ofWaveland. Death was due to complications after six weeks illness. Shewas born in Newtown April 14, 1885, the daughter of Isaac and FlorenceParent Rice. She married William Wiatt Jan 21, 1905 who preceded herin death. She was a member of the Freedom Baptist Church. Survivorsinclude one daughter, Wanetta at home; 3 sons: David at home; Isaac ofnear Russellville and Leo of near Parkersburg; one sister, Mrs. ClaraRice of Crawfordsville and six grandchildren. In addition to herhusband, one son preceded her in death. Funeral services will beconducted Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Freedom Baptist Church with Rev. CWMears officiating. Burial in Freedom Cemetery.
