Excerpt: Isaac Rice
"He is a son of "Boney" and Narcissus McCollins Rice. The father wasborn in Fountain County Indiana and there he spent his life engaged infarming, staying close to his work and taking little part in publicaffairs, although he was a staunch Democrat. His death occurred on Feb11, 1876. His wife was born in Kentucky, and her death occurred inFountain County. They were good, honest people. They were the parentsof 14 children, 7 of whom are still living."
