Enlisted 13 Sept. 1862, and discharged 20 Aug. 1863.
Served as a Hospital Nurse in the regimental hospital, at Bayou Gentilly, La.,from 9 Feb 1863 to 23 July 1863 when he was returned to his company for duty.
