- Anne, designed second lawful daughter of Patrick Lyon of Brigton, married, 2 March 1683, William Durham of Omachie.'^ By contract, dated at Edinburgh 29 March 1670, Bailie John Lyon, then of Brigton, brother-german to Patrick, late of Brigton, sets forth that by the marriage-contract of Patrick and Elizabeth dated in 1660, 12,000 merks were to be paid to the children of the marriage, if two in number ; the estate being unable to meet the obligation, the bailie bound himself to give Elizabeth 8000 merks and Anna 5000 merks.'
