He served in the U.S. Air Force. He worked as a brick mason and plumbers helper. He loved NASCAR, the N.Y. Giants and most other sports. He also had a love of music and a keen intellectual interest in so many things as evidenced by his travels, as well as his collection of books and memorabilia.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Elizabeth Garcia; two daughters, Jacqueline Hein (Eric) and Jo-Ann Banks (Lynn); four grandchildren, Casandra Banks, Ashley Hein, David Banks and Brittany Hein; two great-grandchildren, Mason Smith and Bryce Banks; two sisters, Barbara Tully (James) and Andrea Russo (Ronald); and several nieces and nephews.
