Alonzo GAINES Jr. son of Alonzo and Mary Gaines was born in Boone coKY May 27, 1861 and departed this life Oct 15 at his home nearCovington of complications and infirmitivevs due to advanced age. Hewas married to Addie UTZ June 1884. He united with the christianChurch when a young man and was devoted to his church. In hisdeclining years he was a great sufferer and his solace was thecomforting words and prayers of his minister. The friendship in theselong years between the pastor and the deceased was still warm and trueat the time of his death. He is survived by the devoted wife and asister, Mrs. Doren CLORE of Waveland. Oct 25, 1935
