- "OBITUARY OF HORACE KENT JR.--CLINTONIAN NEWS--MARCH 3, 1946: HORACEKENT JR., 21 OF ROCKVILLE, According to DR. B.H. Branson, Coroner,committed suicide by shooting himself in the chest at his home hereabout 11 p.m., Saturday night. He died in route to Vermillion CountyHospital in a Barnes Ambulance at 11:45 p.m. He is survived by thewidow, Mary, 2 sons, Robert Lee and Kenneth Ray; the parents Mr. andMrs. Horace Kent Sr. of Rockville, three brothers, Oscar, Edward, andRichard all at home and three sisters, Mrs. Rosa Shell of Terre Haute;Gladys and Bertha at home. The body was taken to the Barnes FuneralHome and will be taken to the residence of the parents at 2 p.m.Monday. Funeral services at the Rockville Nazarine Church at 2 p.m.Tuesday. The Reverend K.S.
