  At Minkler Forum on Ancestry.Com: Abraham Minckler, 1832-1902, Snake Oil Salesman Author: Amanda Erlanson Date: 13 Aug 2002 I am looking for any information on Abraham Minckler, who was my ggg-uncle, a snake oil salesman with a traveling medicine show, and later a farmer. A children's book called "Willie and the Rattlesnake King" was written about him. I understand that there was a pamphlet printed at one time as well, which I would love to have a copy of. He lived in Schoharie Co., NY and Wayne Co., PA, was married to Claracilla "Clary" Ferguson and had at least two sons, Abraham and Sanford. His parents were Johannes Minckler and Catharine Jane Post, and he is mentioned in the book "Mincklers in America."
