- From an old photo in posession of Todd Case: "This is Lenna Dexter Grandmother Randtel who came from Germany after my father died."
It is assumed Minnie Dexter wrote this note. "She lived in Buffalo, NY with cousins." I don't know whether this was Charlotte or her Mother-in-law. The photo is stamped on the reverse: "From People's Gallery, 191 E. Seneca Street, Same side as Southern Hotel, Buffalo, NY."
Birthdate and Death based on In Memoriam cards printed when she died. (Is this Lenna or Charlotte?) One card to Mrs. Charles Randall died 8/28/1902, the other to Mrs. Charlotte S. Randtel d. 8/22/1902. Don't know why this discrepancy.
Charlotte S. came to the US from Germany after Lenna.
