Notes |
- John and Minnie were founding members of Christ Episcopal Church, Indian Orchard, Wayne Co., PA. The records are now stored at Grace Episcopal Church in Honesdale. History of Christ Church dedication is in personal papers of Jon Case. It was built in 1911-1912.
John was listed in Grace Church Death record as B,C,C meaning he was baptized, confirmed, and a communicant of the church. His funeral service was held at Christ Church by the Rector Albert L. Whittaker. Believed to be buried at Christ Church cemetery but not proven.
In the 1910 census John and Minnie appear to be renting in Texas Twp. and most people on the same census page are involved in the glass business in one form or another. By 1920 John had died and I believe Minnie had moved to Scranton.
Ms. Wetmore while viewing tombstones in the Christ Church cemetery found an additional grave for:
Madeline E. Case 1917-1961 husband Leonard J. Case 1915-1966.
