on the first plot on the left as you enter the churchyard through thegate on
Church Lane, although the headstone is buried. The stone reads "Arthur Douglas
of Whitby Cottage, 64, fell asleep April 4th 1910...also Susan Eliza,73,
September 19, 1918 of Stanford Rivers (Ongar, Essex) Life's race wellrun,
Life's crown well worn, Now comes rest"
