Notes |
- Early photo (ca. 1925) of "me & my pal" (Dot with dog) shows address of
Dixon's as 3A Sams Lane West Bromwich.
Dixie served in the Women's Land Army, and was present in Coventry on the
night of 14th November 1940. She remembered digging the dead out of the ruins
of their homes.
Instrumental in the establishment of the "Over sixties" club in Armadale,
she suffered from acute asthma, which finally caused her death at age 57.
