Albert Leroy Kildoo was most known as Roy. He was orphaned at the age of 12 yrs. he lived then with Sylvester Shaffer , and began hauling logs with a team until he was old enough to get on the railroad. He fell off of a trussel while working for the Pennsylvania R.R. in 1920 and was injured.He then started the Kildoo Transfer Co. in New Castle , Penna. which he opperated untill the first part of World War II. He then bought a gas station and store at Weigletown , east of New Castle , Penna. and opperated that untill his death in 1967 .
