  He was 2 y.o. when his parents moved from the Wilson farm in Wayne Twp. to Chewton. At 11 y.o. he began work. First worked with the Lirkland and Allen saw-mill until 21y.o.; Worked in blacksmith shop f George Hennon for 1 year and 11 months. ; Worked 8 months with John Parker of Hazeldell, after which he located at Wampum.: He formed a partnership with Frank Morrow, under the firm name of Morrow and Yoho, and after 6 years withdrew and built his present shop.
