Notes |
- James William Baskin, born in 1845, served in the Confederate Army, and was home on leave when a skirmish took place at Waynesboro. His father was a member of the Home Guard, and he joined this group and along with his father and others were captured and sent to prison at Fort Delaware. He returned to the Confederate Service through an exchange of prisoners, but his father remained at Fort Delaware until after the War. Several years afterward he emigrated to Lancaster, Texas, married there, and left descendants.
