Notes |
- John Hart was born in 1803, in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, and died 11 January 1853, in Rochester Township, Beaver County, Pennsylvania, of "Consumption." He is buried in the "Beaver Burial Ground." The record of his death lists his occupation as Carpenter, and his wife's name as Harriet Hart. This same document lists his father and mother and Daniel and Sarah Hart.
There is anecdotal evidence that he was married first to Esther , but at present no documentation of this is in hand. The death record does not indicate whether the listed wife was living or deceased. In the 1850 Census, John Hart is listed with six children, but no spouse. It could be that Harriet Hart had died before the 1850 Census, or that he married her some time after 1850, and the first wife, Esther Hart, was the mother of his children.
