The death of Mrs. Phoebe Douglass Case, aged 86 years, widow of Isaiah Case, took place at the home of her sister, Mrs. Ira P. Cribb, Park Street, Sunday following a long illness.
She was born in Pittstown, May 18, 1848, the daughter of Samuel and Waity Gifford Douglass. She is survived by her sister, a brother, James S. Douglass, a daughter in law, Mrs. Edson T. Case, and several nieces and nephews.
Private funeral services were held from the Cribb home, Tuesday, the Rev. Stephen S. Pratt, officiating. Interment was made in Woodlawn Cemetery. Her body was interred 1935 Canandaigua, New York, Woodlawn Cemetery.
