"OBITUARY OF CHARLES COMBS, DATED: 26 SEPT. 1952
MOLINE, THE DISPATCH NEWSPAPER, ROCK ISLAND COUNTY, ILLINOIS
CAMBRIDGE -- Charles Combs, 55, native of Osco, died this morning inthe Proctor Hospital in Peoria after a lengthy illness. Funeralservices will be held at 2 Monday in the St. Paul's Chapel in Peoria.Mr. Combs was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. E.A. Combs, and went toPeoria from Osco vicinity in early manhood. Survivors are the widowin Peoria; four sons, William of Cambridge, Tommie, Dannie, and Allenof Peoria; one daughter, Mrs. Victor White of Galva, and two sisters,Mrs. John Lough of Moline and Mrs. George Blair of Cambridge.Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother."
