• Notes

  Orrin Case farmed in Perry Township west of Worthington. In 1860 this 48 acre farm was valued at $2000 and the lovestock included 2 horses, 2 milk cows, 2 other cattle, and 3 swine. It was a subsistance family farm which raised 500 bushels of corn and 100 of oats. About 1870 the family, except for Eugene, the married eldest son, moved to California.
