"James GRIFFIN, Milan died Sunday at hie home. He was born on BigIsland and would have been 55 years old on April 17th. He lived on BigIsland for a long time and then moved to Milan some years ago. He wasa bachelor and was a hunter, trapper and vegetable truck farmer bytrade. He is survived by his twin sister, Mrs. Mary WHORTON and by hisbriother George GRIFFIN of Milan and brother Joshua GRIFFIN ofAndalusia. The funeral was Tuesday with burial in the Dickson burialgrounds. (Milan IND, March 9, 1905)"
