  This is speculation but it looks like Claude was born to Coridon Cram Minkler, 1855-1926, and Emma L. Lillibridge, 1865-1945, according to what I found some time ago at Ancestry but no longer can find it, Coridon homesteaded 120-70-14 & 15 in the years 1892 1889 1894.
