Subject: [NYDELAWA-L] Mary (Sackett) Tiffany
Having trouble connecting MARY SACKETT to any other Sackett members. All I
know is she married SAMUEL TIFFANY who was born Lyme,CT 21 April 1761 and
they were the parents of Hannah and Celinda Tiffany who married PEAKE
brothers - Ira and Walter.

After some more searching found the following, did not find where this came from, but someone might know.
110. Samuel Tiffany - born 7/13/1740 in Lyme, Ct. , son of Consider Tiffany and Neomey Comstock. Occupation: Farmer. War Record: From THE TIFFANY FAMILY IN AMERICA- Soon after his marriage, Mr. Tiffany moved into New York State, fought in the French and Indian War, and subsequently enlisted as a continental soldier in the War of the Revolution. It is said that he saved his Tory Brother, Consider, from being pressed into service as a soldier in the Revolutionary War. Married Abigail Curtis. He died in Tomkins, Delaware Co., NY.
