- Daniel Frederick Berrangé MOOC 13/1/3688.209, 13/1/4579.264, 13/1/2450.269A, 13/1/5371.2608, 13/1/2056.131, 13/1/1822.247, 13/1/1410.99, 13/1/2527.129 was an attorney-at-law, the partner of his father and extremely wealthy. Educated at South African College, admitted to Supreme Court in 1875 as attorney, notary public and conveyancer, he became Parliamentary Agent and Proctor of Vice Admiralty Court, Justice of the Peace, and mayor of Green Point and Sea Point Council. Substantially well off, he is celebrated more fully in "Men of the Times". When he died, Petrus Hermanus Berrangé and Frederick Carlyon Berrangé were not mentioned on his Death Notice MOOC 6/9/647 No.1875, and the two children denoted thus (#) were minors. His marriage took place in the Lutheran Church, Strand Steet, Cape Town. When Veronica(Veronique) Christine Marie Mostert died, Petrus Hermanus Berrangé was not mentioned in her Death Notice. All other children were minors on her death at "Oleander [Jolander - sic] House", Sea Point MOOC 6/9/325 No.246. The inventory of her estate was substantial and patently one of affluence.
