- Montagu Ninian Alexander Brodie, 25th of Brodie usually went by his middle name of Ninian. He was educated at Eton College, Eton, Berkshire, England. He was educated at Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art, London, England. He was an actor between 1935 and 1940. He fought in the Second World War between 1940 and 1945, with the Royal Artillery. He inherited the position of 25th Chief of Clan Brodie on 15 February 1943. He was an actor between 1945 and 1950. He was a market gardener and land-owner between 1953 and 1980. He was appointed a Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Morayshire in 1958 & Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Nairnshire in 1970.1 He was residing in 1978 at Brodie Castle, Forres, Morayshire, Scotland.
