Veedersburg, Ind. (CNS) -- Mrs. Ada L. Douglas, 79, died at 10 a.m.yesterday (April 9, 1967) at the home of a son, Thomas Douglas, here.She had been ill several months. Born Feb. 3, 1888 in ShawneeTownship, she was the daughter of Thomas W. and Ida Mae Miller Cox.She was married to Homer L. douglas Feb. 21, 1911, and he died inOctober, 1942. Surviving in addition to the son, Thomas, are anotherson, Roy L. Griffith; a daughter, Mrs. Lola Mae Barnes of Conneaut,Ohio; 12 grandchildren; a brother, russell of Williamsport; a sister,Mrs. Glenna Waldron of Covington. She was preceded in death by twosisters, two brothers, two sons and a daughter. the body is at theParham Funeral Home and friends may call from 7-9 tonight. Serviceswill be held there at 2 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Omar Waltersofficiating. Burial will be in Brown Chapel Cemetery." [Transcribed25 January 2006, SLJuhl]
