It has been suggested that Hugh may have been descended from the Malcolm(Gillocallum) who is claimed as ancestor of the Campbells and his wifewho was 'heiress of Beauchamp 'Campus bellus' and niece of William theConqueror'. This is to be investigated further in due course. (Sept2003)
