"June 18, 1951 Lafayette Journal and Courier, Lafayette, Indiana
ELZA REDENBAUGH, 57, died at 3:15 a.m. today in St. ElizabethHospital. He had been a patient there since June 9. He was born atJamestown and married Ethel Leota Miller in 1903. He spent his earlylive in Montgomery County and worked as a brick and stonemason. Hecame to Monticello in 1938 and lived here several years before movingto Norway, where he resided until the time of his death. He and hiswife operated a grocery store at Norway for some time. He was amember of the Monticello Methodist Church. Surviving besides thewidow are three children; a daughter, Mrs. A.J. O'Neil, Philo, IL.;and two sons Joel F. of Crawfordsville, and Fred of Norway."[Transcribed 09 June 2006, SLJuhl, compiler]

In the circuit clerk's office yesterday evening at 6 o'clock Elza L.Redenbaugh and Miss Ethel Leota Miller were married by Justice JohnMcCoy in the presence of Mrs. Etna F. Bloir and John Allen, aswitnesses. Mr. Redenbaugh is a mechanic living at Mace, Ind., and itis there the couple will live. They left for that place last night.Miss Miller was the daughter of the late George L. Miller of Macon,Ills."
