- 1 - Walter may have had the tenancy of the farm called Drumbouie ie Druim Bruidhe, the yellow ridge, near Loch Drunkie, because that is where Agnes Macfarlane was born.
2 - Drumbuie was probably a dairy farm producing butter as the main source of income with beef once a year.
