- Michael Kannarney came to America from Ireland as a young boy and settled
in Elbert County, Georgia. He served in the Confederate Army and was
wounded. He later moved to Wilkes County, Georgia and are buried at
Rehobeth Church cemetery in Metasville, Georgia.
