- Pansy was a teacher at the Ridge School at the time of her death. She died from bllod posisoning which was a result of cutting her finger on a rusty object while working in the garden. (per Irene Birkett)
Pansy taught her first years at a school which was located near Laraway on Patterson Road. Ellsworth Palmer said that he attened a Box Social there before he was married and while she was teaching at the school. (per Ellsworth Palmer)
Prior to coming to Providence Ridge School, Pansy taught at Fairmont School. She came to Ridge School when Irene Birkett was in the 4th grade. She also taught Ralph Palmer and Esther Palmer Seely in her first grade before moving to Elwood. (per Irene Birkett)[McElvain.FTW]
