  I assumed both my sources to be very reliable but there does seem to be aconflict. Whether "Grey of Ruthin" is the same as "Grey de Ruthyn." I don't knowbut it does seem rather likely. In Burkes Under Grey de Ruthyn, Burkes says Elizabeth Hastings daughter of John (ofAbergavenny) 2nd Baron Hastings married Roger 1st Baron Grey de Ruthyn. Directory of Royal Genealogical Data Shows at http://www.dcs.hull.ac.uk/cgi-bin/gedlkup/n=royal?royal04565 John (of Abergavenny) 2nd Baron Hastings, died January 20, 1324/25 Married Juliana de Lybourne who died November 01, 1327.
