Emma Douglas, 88 Passes Away Tuesday Morning in Anaconda
Mrs Emma Douglas, 88, a long time resident of the city of Deer Lodgeand Granite county, passed away Tuesday morning in an Anaconda resthome. Mrs Douglas was born in Missouri Feb 20, 1872, and came toDrummond when a young woman. She lived in Deer Lodge 35 years priorto her illness at which time she moved to Anaconda.
She was a member of the Sons and Daughters of Montana Pioneers and ofthe Christian Church.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs Ida Royal of Drummond, and severalnieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 1 pm at the RossFuneral home with the Rev I.M. Nelson officiating. Burial will be inHillcrest cemetery.
Note: Emma was the second wife of Luther M Douglas who preceded her indeath on 26 July 1947."
