    "I am a descendant of the Rev John Sinclair, of Hollyhill, Strabane, CoTryone N.Ireland. He was born roughly around 1640 in Caithness Scotland,his father was James Sinclair of Wester-Brims. I think he get hisreligious training at Edinborough University and was made the Rector ofLeckpatrick Co Tryone in 1665. He died in 1703 and was buried in the Cof I church yard in Strabane. He married Anna Galbraith & they had adaughter Anna & a son John..

    "Possibly grandson of William Sinclair of Dunbeath to whom Brubster,Brims, Toftkemp and Thura belonged." "If of Dunreath family, he wasprobably the son of George Sinclair of Downreay."
