Scott Douglas

Scott Douglas is executive director of Greater Birmingham Ministries, a multi-racial interfaith organization that combines direct services, advocacy, and organizing to aid and empower low-income communities. Under Scott’s leadership, GBM has worked on multiple issues concerning governance, including campaign finance reform and state constitutional reform. 

Scott’s Senior Fellowship project will use stimulus funding as an entry point to develop and begin to test models of participatory budgeting that engage grassroots leaders and progressive academics in setting public spending priorities.
